About Us

Before establishing my practice in March 2020, I spent 14 years as a senior associate at Scotland’s largest dental practice in Perth, developing my expertise through extensive postgraduate training.

Appointed an NHS Vocational Dental Trainer in 2010, I mentored young dentists for four years while also performing oral surgery at the local hospital. My passion for mentorship led to my role as a National Education for Scotland "Dentists in Difficulty" Coach Mentor, supporting colleagues facing personal and professional challenges.

In 2015, I pursued a Foundation in Implant Dentistry with Straumann, followed by a structured five-year postgraduate implant training program under one of the UK’s top implant surgeons. This culminated in my Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2018, regarded as the gold standard in the field.

I am an active member of the International Team for Implantology, the Association of Dental Implantologists, and an Honorary Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy mountain biking, hillwalking, climbing!

Sadie embarked on her professional journey in 2004 as a Dental Nurse, driven by a passion for oral health care. Her dedication led her to pursue further education, culminating in her qualification as a dental hygienist in 2010. After honing her skills and expertise, Sadie made a significant move to Edinburgh, where she contributed her knowledge to the field of dental hygiene.

In 2023, Sadie embarked on a new chapter by joining the team here Cherry Court Dental Care and  Implant clinic, where she continues to provide excellent care to her patients. Beyond her professional endeavours, Sadie finds joy in her personal life, cherishing moments with her young family and enjoys waling with her beloved cocker spaniel, Rudy.

Rachel a dedicated professional with a lifelong passion for dentistry. She discovered this passion at a young age, showcasing her commitment to the field early on. In primary school, a project on dentistry earned her an impressive A grade, implanting the idea of pursuing a career in dentistry.

With over 36 years of experience in the dental field, Rachel has a diverse and enriching career. She has worked between various settings, including private referral implant clinics, NHS practices, and public dental services. Her commitment to community health is evident through her work with special needs individuals, urban populations facing challenges such as drug addiction and homelessness, and those affected by blood-borne viruses.

A notable chapter in Rachels's career unfolded at Spittal Street, where she worked with the harm reduction unit, addressing the unique dental needs of diverse groups. She also contributed to patient care at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, specifically in Ward 41 of the infectious diseases unit.

The turning point of Rachel's career occurred when she crossed paths with John at an emergency dental hub. This encounter led to her to subsequently be offered a position as Senior Nurse and Clinical Manager at Cherry Court. Embracing this opportunity, Rachel has found fulfilment in contributing to the success of the team.

In addition to her professional achievements, Rachel recently achieved a Diploma in Implant Dental Nursing, further solidifying her expertise in the field, and is going on to further studying.

Outside of the dental practice, Rachel enjoys a well-rounded life. She maintains a healthy lifestyle by going to the local gym and enjoys walking and sharing meals with friends.

Mhairi is a qualified dental nurse with extended duties with over 10 years experience. After leaving school in 2015, She completed the NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing at New College Lanarkshire, followed by an HND in Dental Nursing, which expanded her skills for surgical settings. In 2021, Mhairi graduated with a BSc in Dental Nursing from the University of the West of Scotland, becoming one of only around 30 dental nurses in the UK to hold this qualification at the time.

Throughout her career, She has worked in general practice with a particular focus on oral surgery and dental implants. Furthering her skills she also holds a CBCT Level 1 certificate. She enjoys working with patients and helping them feel at ease during there visit. 

Outside of work, Mhairi enjoys wild swimming, travelling, attending concerts, and watching British Superbike racing.

Eilidh is a qualified dental nurse with over 15 years of experience and joined the team in 2024. She enjoys chatting with patients and takes pride in helping them feel relaxed and at ease thought their visit, making every appointment as comfortable as possible.

When Eilidh isn't at work she is a mum to two young children and enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys getting outdoors for walks with her dog, going new places and making the most of family days out.

With over three decades of dedicated experience in customer service and office management across industries such as travel, property management, and retail.

Raised in Peebles, Nicola embarked on her career journey in the travel industry where she delivered excellent customer service and built positive relationships with her clients and work colleagues.

​

Throughout her career Nicola has demonstrated her dedication to ensuring the clients she works with receive the highest levels of service.  Her communication skills and attention to detail have been key in her ability to exceed expectations.

​

In 2022, Nicola embarked on and exciting new chapter in her career by transitioning to the dental sector as Practice Manager at Cherry Court. Drawing upon her experience and expertise, Nicola is passionate about driving the practice’s growth and success while maintaining a focus on delivering excellent customer service and patient care.

Nicola’s commitment to continuous improvement and professional development is evident in her recent completion of a management course at the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University, further enhancing her leadership and management skills.

​

Outside of the workplace, Nicola enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She has a passion for cooking , enjoys staying active through exercise and walking, and is dedicated to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, as evidenced by her completion of an online nutrition course.

With her extensive experience, dedication and commitment to personal and professional growth, Nicola is a valuable asset to the team at Cherry Court, contributing significantly to the success and growth of the business.

Leah joined the Cherry Court team a few months ago as one of our friendly receptionists. With over 20 years' experience in customer service, including a background in beauty therapy and previous experience in a dental practice, she brings a wealth of knowledge and warm welcoming approach to patient care.

As one of the first faces you'll see when your arrive at Cherry Court, Leah enjoys chatting with patients and helping them feel relaxed from the moment they walk through the door. Her friendly personality and caring nature makes her a valued member of our team.

Outside of work, Leah Loves spending quality time with her family, going on holiday and taking long walks with her dog.
